This 45 ha block of public land has steep fern-lined scrubby gullies and pockets of tall open forest, which used to grow all over the Hoddle ridge. From Mt Nicoll the views over the surrounding country site are spectacular.

From Fish Creek travel toward Foster on the Fish Creek - Foster Road and turn right into Nicoll Road several kilometres past Fish Creek.
