Today’s birding destination to be advised due to the situation with current Government fires in the area. The new meeting place is Moe Railway Station at 8.30 a.m.  (There is 2 hr parking across the road.) There are already three large fires to the south and west of our planned excursion to the Moondarra state park.  We may still be able to go, but if we meet in Moe, we can:

a. collect anyone who comes by train

b. know the current smoke and fire situation

c. share details of an alternative destination if neccessary

The train from Melbourne gets in to Moe at 8.22.a.m.

The train from Traralgon is due at Moe at 8.11 a.m.

We can be sorted and set off by 8.30a.m. Bring your binoculars, water and lunch.
