This year from October 20 to 26 our club and members are participating in Birdlife Australia’s Aussie Bird Count.

We’ve set up some places, times and dates for the club to record birds. Other people are welcome to join us. We’ll be working in teams to identify, count and record birds for 20 minutes at many different sites. This year we’ll be surveying at most of the closed sites that we are able to access for club activities. For the Moe Treatment works on Monday Oct 20 and for the Morwell Treatment Works on Tuesday 21 October, new people to these sites will need to set aside time prior to complete an on-line induction. If you can attend on any of the times and dates shown, please contact us so that we can send you maps, meeting details and a link to any induction that you may need.
